I received a letter and a check for almost $5,000.00 in the mail today. It claims tob from publishers clearing house. It says after tring to reach me by phone and could not they sent this to me. It says that I am a grand prisze winner of unclaimed prize money. I have a number to call to James Stanfield and after I get in cotact with him the will activate the check so that I can deposit into my checking account I have 1o (ten) days from taday to call and get this activated. I would lik to know if this is a scam or not. THANK YOU ELMER RICHIE (Personal Information Removed) Phone (Personal Information Removed). The phone # I am supposed to call is(Personal Information Removed) between 9:00 and 5:00 MON_FRI EST
