I bought a great pair of Camper shoes about 8 years ago in Pamplona, Spain. Hardly ever wore them. Maybe a few days per year and hardly any walking - all told maybe I walked 10 kilometers in these shoes. Black leather. The soles totally cracked and fell apart when I put them on at the end of this winter, 2013. A huge chuck fell off! I sent a photo to Camper complaining, but they responded the shoes are no longer manufactured, and they gave me a scientific run-down of what the soles composition was - --- why didn't they would fall apart. They did not offer me a new pair of shoes, and of course it is impossible to post a photograph on their official page. It's not good PR. can I post one here?
cheers Jim
