A house for rent was posted on hotpads.com located in Carlsbad, CA. House was listed as being pulled from market and owner have decided to just rent. Have been in New York for a pastoral job and wife has cancer and getting treatment in New York. Advised to drive-up the place but also mentioned that a for sale sign is still up as it has only been pulled from market. We like the place and he sent an application with a different landlord name of Mr Nelson Smith and rental location is 1325 144th Avenue SE, Bellevue, WA 98007. He sent another email apologizing for the unedited application form which he said was from a friend who also rented his place. We filled up application with our drivers license for credit checks and employment history. Soon after he said that they like us to get the rental and to send deposit to hold the house and just moved in when we are ready. He gave us this address and person to send the money and a note that money is for Harrell JOnes' daughter. Recepient was April Oaks with the address listed above.
Drove by the house today and saw a sign "in escrow" called agent asap and had advised to not respond to the email as its an identity fraud to the real Harrell Jones and the rental info from internet sites are scam.
