On 02/05/2013 I received an email regarding speeding up a slow computer. I subscribed for $29.95. They ran a scan then said I had so many errors that I should sign up for their $239.00 plan to fix my computer for one year. They ran a scan plus two more after that and said they found errors and had fixed them. This morning I was unable to get on the internet. I called AoL. They ran a scan and found numerous errors dating back some time. For $379 they fixed them for me. It took three hours to fix them all. I called Ascentive and cancelled and asked for a refund. They informed me that I should have contacted them first; however I could not get on the internet to do so. They refuse any kind of refund. I am 78 years old and need that money.
