After being hammered by pop-up ads to upgrade my phone every time I visit their home page I decided to take them up on their offer. They sell refurbished discontinued phones at very reasonable prices so I was pleased to find a very nice one for $59.00. I purchased and paid for the phone in full but was surprised that after the transaction I never received an invoice or email confirmation from them. I waited over three weeks before I called their customer support line on 4/12 to find out the status of purchase and after waiting on hold for over 20 minutes Rep says delay is because their having shipping problems. I respond to him that that’s not a shipping problem it’s a company problem. In this day and age of seamless online transactions waiting close to a month for delivery of an already paid for single item not only goes against the industry standard of 7 days it’s ludicrous. He then places me on hold for another ten minutes and when he returns now there is another excuse, it’s no longer a shipping problem it’s now a problem with transferring my number to the new phone. That's even more ridiculous than the first excuse, it's not like they're taking my phone number from a phone with another company and starting a new service both phones are there phones, should take 5 minutes tops to reprogram. At this point he cops an attitude towards me and hangs up. That's not the worst part though, within 10 minutes of him hanging up on me my cell service is cut off. I have tried for 3 days now to get through on their customer service line but to no avail. So now they have my $59.00, I have no new phone and no phone service

  • I have emailed you twice at this address and also left you with my contact home phone number and still no response. I also do not appreciate your condescending attitude calling a non delivery, of a paid in full Lifeline phone, now on the 28th day, an inconvenience. What do you mean you will “Work with me to resolve my issue” there is no work to do with me or an issue I need to resolve, you need to work with yourself and ship my phone purchase which will resolve your companies issue not mine. I am a Senior Citizen on a fix income and $59.00 is a lot of money to me, I also have a lot of time on my hands now being retired and if this is not rectified today with word that my phone has shipped my next step is to contact the local media and my states Attorney General.

  • Was finally able to get through phone support line and speak to someone. Customer Rep. was very polite and helpful, apologized for the problems I was having and then asked me if I had checked my mailbox today because phone had shipped. I told him I had not but I would check right now, I asked if he would stay on the line while I checked and he said he would. Phone had not arrived yet but he told me not to worry package had been sent and he gave me the tracking info. I checked Fed Ex website with tracking info and package is in system and on its way. FedEx stated delay was due to security issues caused by Boston Marathon tragedy which is perfectly understandable. Will update again after I receive phone delivery to make sure it's the proper model. Overall was very impressed by Service Reps. professionalism.
