I left an absentee bid of $150.00 for a choice of any two EVANS DECOYS.#2 and 4 were my main 2 choices however if they were individually more than $150.00 I would mix and match any two or one individually. I gave the writtwn bid to your tallest Ringman(Bruce ?). When I returned I asked him if I had won any of the 4 Evans Decoys. He said No. I found out later from the main buyer who was one of the bidders. He said that number one was the only decoy to sell for over $150.00. He also said that #4 and #2 were my primary choices but I would accept any one for the bid under $150.00. I asked Bruce why I didn`t win. He said he forgot!!You don`t find Signed Evans Decoys very often. I probably would have dne very well on resale.Now i have nothing. All I got was I am sorry. That doesn`t cut it. If you are going to run an absentee program you need to treat the bids seriously. Also designate a responsile person to Manage these bids. Before I left Ernie said that he thought the bids were all over $150.00. I have talked to the winning bidders and they all said that only one was more than $150.00. That was #1. Therefore, I should have won 2 of the remaining three. I will never leave an Absentee Bid with your Auction Company again. Lot of good that will do me now. Ernie Szepieniec the Auctioneer refused to discuss the problem.In my opinion The ducks should have been returned to the front and the decoys awarded to the correct bidders. They still have done nothing. These Decoys were signed Evans and very hard to find and all because of a poor absentee bid management program. They could get these decoys back and award them to theproper persons. However, they are not going to do anyhing,
