I purchased Impress Vacation Package on June 23, 2012 and was told that if I couldn't use it within a year then I could have it extended for 6 months. The person at the other end of the phone said her name was Noelle Valles and I faxed her my credit card number for payment.
I knew in March that that I wouldn't be able to have my vacation until 2013 fall so I phoned to extend my package until the end of Dec., 2013. At that time I spoke to Jamie at 1-877-745-4351. Jamie then told me she would extend the package but I would have to give her my banking information along with a cheque number and the cheque would be made out to "Ultimate Transactions Services" and my confirmation number would be EXTIT062310.
I know that I was foolish to fall for all of this so I went to my bank and cancelled the cheque (April 4, 2013) and haven't heard back from either Impress or Ultimate. I am now trying to see if there is any way that I could have my credit card company re-imburse me. Do these companies just prey on Seniors. I live in northern Canada. Thank you.
