Using free lunch vouchers as incentive for my wife and I and a guest we brought along with us, attended a sales presentation by Mr. Rod Hill, Sales Executive on Dec. 19, 2011 concerning added benefits to the Time Share we already own since 2004. Briefly, Mr. Hill withdrew an unauthorized extra $820.00 from our Bank of America checking account WITHOUT disclosing and explaining to us this fee at closing in flagrant violation of both State and Federal Law concerning real estate closing transactions. We wanted to cancel the transaction but we were late for a few days after the 10-day cancellation period because like most people, we were focused on gifts and parties at this busiest Holiday Season of the yera.
We appealed even to Mr. J. W Marriott Jr., CEO to no avail.
We want our flawed transaction money back in full.

Also, if you can, please provide us a real estate lawyer, preferably from Florida with its very strict real estate closing laws and which happens to be where Marriott's Executive Billing offices are located---to sue for punitive damges this multi-billion corporation did that damaged our health, reputation and credit rating. My wife and I are retired senior citizens and would therefore need a lawyer preferabley from Florida with its strict real estate closing laws, to work on a contingency basis to stop Mariott's deceptive and unlawful practices of selling Time Shares. Thank you.

  • No one from Marriott Vacation Club would be able to remove funds from your account without your authorization. If you had an unauthorized withdrawl, you need to file a fraud alert and police report as this is not a Marriott Vacation Club transaction. We regret that you have been the victim of fraud; however, this is not the responsibility of Marriott Vacation Club.
