- I was emailing with "Robert Mancini" for the last month. Met him on datehookup.com and he seemed very nice man but when we spoke on the phone a week ago I was surprised to hear his accent to be so muddled. (Red Flag #1) He said his mother (now deceased) was British and while teaching English in Italy had met his father. They then moved to UK where he was born and he grew up. Why then wouldn't he have a British accent? He said his father never learned English and so he grew up bi-lingual. He's on a job in Africa for 3 months. He had to go to northern Africa to meet a shipmen from China. Ok - 2nd red flag - that made no sense. Why would shipment from China go to northern Africa? Then he runs out of money and can't get shipment thru customs and asks me to send him $1000 citing that the bribes he'd had to pay left him broke. He tells me you can't use credit cards in Africa. He had an answer for everything altho not always making good sense. He asked repeatedly even tho I said No and explained I am a single mom and have no money. Too much not adding up so I told him off. Then I found this complaint on him. Also at closer examination I'm not certain all the pictures he sent me are of the same man. Feel like I dodged a bullet.
