I ordered a dvd from Scooter Movies Shop for my uncle in January 2013. I received the order confirmation, my credit card was immediately charged, yet still my uncle hasn't received the order.
The conditions listed in the email confirmation stated the item would be received in 5-7 business days. Shipping appears to be free in the US and the price paid for the dvd is $15.00 US including standard case art selected (an extra $5.00). Including shipping to Australia I paid a total of $17.46 AUD.
Obviously I presumed it would be longer than the week timeframe supplied (that would be standard US), but after allowing the full 1-6 weeks in case the item had to be backordered, still nothing has surfaced. I have emailed the company three times without reply, its now been 10 or 11 weeks since the order was placed.
From various reviews it appears I'm not the only customer who this has happened to. If the owner is not prepared to supply the dvd or refund the amount paid, he should be investigated for operating an illegitimate business and somehow stopped from being allowed to trade.
With the Authorinet seal of approval for credit card transactions, you think you are purchasing from a safe, reputable online business which appears to be untrue.
