I was interested in the product and checked out the website. On the page for the free product, in order to get the free product paying only postage and handling, below the order button is a notice to "read the terms and conditions below". There are 2 paragraphs outlining what will happen if you do not cancel within 18 days of your order being placed! Everyone with a complaint did NOT READ it or these complaints wouldn't be here at all. Most (not all) acted surprised at being charged further and also claimed they did not ask for "auto-ship". Surprise! Yes you did, simply by ordering the "Free Trial". Very rarely will ANY free item online offered have No Strings Attached to them. Please be very cautious when ordering any "FREE" item as there will be a warning of the time limit, and there is Almost Always an auto-ship included.
Those who are complaining for the majority of cases did not do their due diligence and read the terms and conditions.
For that reason, I hate to say this, but, chances are, you will not get your money back unless the shipping department messed up your order date. They have a legal right to charge your account if you do not cancel per their "Terms and Conditions". It is just like any legal case - Ignorance of the law (or in this case, Terms and Conditions) is not a legal defense. I learned this the hard way a long time ago. Nothing offered online is ever totally "Free". Expensive lesson - learn from it and don't make the same "oops" again. -
