Top Choice Merchants (who may also be J and S Production LLC or JSTE-Biz Services tried to get me to pay $265 to start a merchant account business (and then pay another $245 if I made more than $2000 within the first 90 days. If I didn't make $2000, I would not have to pay the $245). Heres the deal: I would send them names of businessess that use credit card machines and they in turn would talk to the consumer about reducing their interest rate, cash advances and other services they offer. I was told that I would get up to $500 for every machine they replaced, one half of the processing fee and 2% of any cash advances. The guy told me that I would have a back office and can track all my money from there. I thought the idea sounded too good to be true so I checked their website (topchoicemerchants.com) but something still didn't feel right about these people. I called the company back 800-506-9694 and spoke to the guy again and he showed me on the site where they were rated good by the better business bureau but I felt uncomfortable about their sales pitch. I didn't see anything on their site relevant to me sending in names of business. But I did see where some of their services were, selling business leads, web development etc. I had a big red flag and a hunch that the names of the business I send them and what other consumers send them were in turn used to sell to other consumers. So I did a google search to see if there were any complaints on them. your site came up where I saw that other consumers were being riped off by these people. Thank God I went on my instincts and check it out furtherbefore I gave him my credit card information. This is what I found on your site (see below). Thank you for posting these complaints.
