I applied online for a loan from Stepps Financial Solutions. They called me back the next day, a woman named Jessica Senator, 1-876-2976. She explained to me that i was approved for the $10,000 loan that i was looking for. She then sent me an application to my workplace which i carefully looked over many times, and then signed and faxed back. Since i have no equity and not so great credit, she gave me an option to insure my loan, meaning pay a few months worth of payments just in case something happens. She gave me an agents name, Norris Campbell, to write on the western union slip to send my $650 plus $57 to exchange an agent in jamaica. Jessica said my money would be going into my bank account about 20 minutes after i gave her the MTCN on the receipt. This was at 10:00 am CT. I did provide them with a direct deposit slip with my account information. I checked my balance probably 14 times all day to see if it was there. So I called. Jessica explained the call volumes were high and the money would be there by 7:00 pm CT. The funds were not there. Obviously not impressed with what was going on, I confronted her on this scam, and she replied that we would be in contact first thing monday morning. A Mr. Danny Paterson, 1-876-398-1675, calls me Monday. He tells me that I am required to give them an additional $800 to insure them that i will pay for the loan. I tell him I have no more money to give him as I have a 4 year old and a newborn coming in days. He told me i wasn't obligated to pay anymore money and that he would reject that offer. He called me back a few days later, and once more offering $500 offers. I almost pulled through with the last $500 offer. I looked them up in the Jamaican Yellow Paged on google and they were nowhere to be found. We made all the arrangements necessary for me to send him more money to another agent, Cameisha Renyolds. I hesitated and didn't pay it, thinking the worst. You shoulda heard his answers to the questions I had for him after he tried calling 13 times before i finally answered. I confronted him about what I knew, but i did not say i realized it was a scam (only knowing it). I told Danny that i was not going to front anymore money for this. I said it was now his job to find me a private lender that requires no additional "insurance". That day was friday sept 16. It is now the 21st, and I have not heard from Danny Patterson.

  • I too was victim of Stepps financial Solutions. I was promised a 5000 dollar loan. I looked them up on line and found their web page. I also tried to find them in the yellow pages to no avail. I have the contract and western union reciepts too. I was told my money was sent to a different person with the same name. I asked them to verify my deposit information which they did, told it would be deposited in 20 min, 45 min than I needed to send customs fees for 10000 which is not what i had paperwork for at all in total they scamed me for 1092.00. I cannot believe they are still getting away with this. I recieved emails from Sammy Sue and than was transferred to a Paul Martin. I sent my money to two different people. The 1st was carlos ward who was the lender (HAHA) and than to a Mr. nicholos. THat was also sept,9th when the money was not there on the 12 I called them and said I wanted a refund He said someone would be getting ahold of me on Oct 20th to verify my funds had been returned.
