- I had an 94 Ford Exsploder.Explorer Which Transmission went out At 55,000 miles. They did replace it but found other things like a burnt throttle cable which had been installed wrong or it would not have gotten Burnt. It went out again 100,000 miles I junked it. Never to buy a ford product ever again.
