My husband was admitted to hospital on our honeymoon night before insurance would kick in. I received a doctor bill and began making monthly payments. 6 months later, I receive a letter from this company Synerprise that my account has been turned over to collections. I immediately verify all payments made and that I am not a collection account. They promise to resolve it and fix my credit (lie). They tell me they are working with the doctors office and that they will get my records from the hospital to give me credit for all payments asap, but want me to set up payments. I set up a $25 per month payment plan with them, which is what I was paying the doctor office directly. I find out after several months that my balance notes don't match theirs and they are apparently charging me a $5 fee every month, 20% off my payment amount that I was never told about before I set it up. Otherwise, I would have just called the doctors office and resolved it with them and kept paying them directly to save that money.

Then, on 1/28, I notice that my bank account has had a $60 check deducted, which was the payoff I paid and on top of that on the same day, they've taken out another draft payment of $25 on the same day.

I see no refund coming shortly for the $25 and after several weeks of calling in and them forcing me to spend money to fax 'proof' to them that they screwed up and owe me that money back, I call again today which is 2 weeks later (now 7 weeks from time they took the money)and they tell me today that they owe me the money, but are taking out another $5 service fee for their own error?

After speaking to their upper management and explaining to him all they've put me through, he still refuses to do the right thing and refund the full overage.

Before you agree to anything with this company, don't believe them. They are deceiptful and don't care about what's the right thing to do, even after giving them several opportunities to do the right thing.

I'm very disappointed.
