I sent a 24 carat gold bracelet to The British Gold Refinery they said it was only 9 carat gold even though it was hallmarked as 24 carat. They paid me £44-15 even though it was worth over £200 I asked for my bracelet back they said I had to pay an additional £50 returns fee I refused. I had a representative write to them on my behalf but they ignored this and refined my bracelet.
I am still trying to get them to reply to my lawyers letters but they keep ignoring them.
