I bid on a room through the name your own price option with Priceline. It was suppose to be at least a 2.5 star hotel which according to their description would be something like a Hampton Inn or a Holiday Inn. My best offer of $60.00 was accepted by a hotel called Mainstay Suites. This hotel on any other website is listed as barely a 2 star hotel and the reviews are horrible. Dirty rooms with body hair on the sheets and in the bathrooms. Dirty towels left for you to use along with used bars of soap and even bed bugs! Also, complaints of loud music throughout the night, shady looking characters walking around the parking lot and people smoking illegal substances in the breezeways. Needless to say I am afraid to stay there and when I called Priceline they said the room was nonrefundable and I was out of luck. I feel I should be refunded because this hotel was falsely advertised by them and is not a 2.5 star hotel.
