Dating site scam, after a month of falling in love on line, he has to go to Africa for a job and will be gone for 3 weeks and we will meet when he gets back. He gets there, supposedly, and says his laptop had a problem and didn't work, so he couldn't get his work off the computer to do the job and needed me to buy him a laptop and ship it to him and he would pay me back. I found the real Ben O on another site and the picture was completely different than the one I had from him. It claimed to be rich, widowed, with a 14 year old daughter and was Italian, moved her 5 years ago. He had bad experience with someone he met over a year ago, this person hurt him and his daughter as she ended up being married. He was very suave and too true to believe.

- OMG! Please tell me more! He has contacted me and we have been chatting. I just decided to google him on a whim because something doesn't feel right. He haS A 14YR and is from KY. He homeschools her because some boys about killed her at school. He wants to meet me in Knoxville. Says he travels and flies alot...Please respond if you can because this may be the same man. He has a different email though. Said he had a bad experience on the dating site I am on, and there is something else he needs to tell me, but he hasn't.

- Yvonne, yes this is the same guy!!! He is loving, demanding, home-schools his daughter, is an architect and can't seem to find the time to meet you. What he has to tell you is that he has been working on this project and it finally came through with is lawyer and he has to fly to Ghana for three weeks. I had sent him a card at his 'fake' address in Lexington and it came back nobody by that name at this address. He told me his house had a basement and I looked it up with the Lexington tax appraiser and it did not have a basement. Also, who walks two dobermans I'm the middle of a snow blizzards. Drop him as he is not real. I learned my lesson the hard way, luckily I found out when he needed a new laptop in Ghana as he couldn't get one there. Look up Ghana dating scams, there are a lot of them out there. Be careful and good luck finding a real sincere guy :-)

- He told me his wife's name was Mabel and he has a disabled sister in Italy whom he goes to see about three times a year and he has someone to take care of her. He also said he was willing to move within 100 miles of someone if she was the right woman. He said he was going to go to Alexandria in two to thee weeks and we could meet on his way there. Funny thing as it was to meet a client that he was doing a drawing for from California. That didn't make sense to me, then OT always kept being three weeks, then he had to go to Ghana for three weeks or Kuwait for 6 months and he chose Ghana as he could get home quicker to meet me. Then he told me when he got to Ghana that he needed me to send him a few things as he hadn't time to gather them as he was busy all day before travel. Weird things, like toothbrush, lotion, boxer shorts, Xbox games, etc. I said I would but it wouldn't be until the weekend. Then day later he said forget about that as now his laptop with all his drawings blew up sorta speak because of different electrical current and he couldn't find anyone in the states that would send to him and asked if I could buy this specific laptop and send it to him and he would pay me back! That is when I stopped, googled him and wordings in his email and found this Scambook site!,

- Thanks Molly! Interesting he hasn't tried to contact me since I posted this...Probably is someone from Ghana. His stories don't make sense and he gets mixed up on what he has told you, lol, that's why my red fals went up. I just feel sorry for whoever's pic this is that he is using because they look like nice people...
