I was contacted by a guy in the middle of Nov., 2012 by Darlington White on Zoosk.com. We spoke over the next few days. Shortly after he had mentioned that he was out of the country in Nigeria, checking on his dad. That he was originally from the US (Sacramento, CA). He stated that he needed 150 to help get meds., for his dad. I sent him that. Then about the beginning of Dec., he was trying to get back home with his daughter, that he did mentioned in our previous conversations, and that the airlines was asking for a PTA fee. I thought I was making sure that everything was on the up and up with him. I couldn't find a trail that would have led it to be a scam. Until it was to late. I had invested monies into him already, when I came across this one website that spoke of dating scams. He still contacts me till this day. As I pile up my information on him, with a new picture of the real Darlington White from Lagos, Nigeria, three (3) different phone numbers and now a new website to it. I'm just trying to past this information on so this won't happen to anyone else. I'm not sure If I can get anything back. I did keep all of my Western Union receipts, when I sent him money. Even from the first transaction.

- Did he tell you anything else? I just met this character on BlackSingles.com I've been told that he lives in Sacramento, CA and I have a phone number for you. The only reason I found you was because I found the name funny and I googled it. Thanks for posting this and letting me know that he's a scammer. I got a very different story but not one about him being in Nigeria. I'm getting a story about him living in Sacramento. I don't understand why people do this to others. I hope you get your money back.

- He has contacted me as well, took less than a week for him to ask for money. I am so sorry that he was successful in scamming unsuspecting women. I am gathering information on him and have 3 email accounts. The name that he gave me was Darling Emeka of Lagos, Nigeria, I hope this helps you get your money back

I am so sorry ladies that you have gone through this. When ever a man contacts me online, the first thing I do is to look-up his name, number, email etc. online to see if something pops. In this case, it has, Darlington White is back at it. [email protected] from Sacramento CA has contacted me. Phone 917-259-3703. Sweeties bothers from the USA don't talk like this. The do not profess our beauty to this degree. Every indication tells me this is not a brother from the USA trust your instinct we are NOT desperate for love and attention and a real man will not ask us for money, they are attempting (i said attempt because i can afford myself) to pay ours.
btw he didn't get the chance to ask for any money because my reply to his line of bull was no thanks your not local. But the pic he uses is fine :) -

- This person has an account of Facebook, same name. Found this site when I Google the phone number he gave me. Looks like he's still trying to scam people. He told me his 6 year old daughter's mom was killed in a car accident in TX, and now they reside in the Bronx. Also said he's currently in Africa with his father who had an accident and is awaiting surgery. This is just crazy!
