craigslist 2001 tacoma! pics and all! Guy emailed me with VERY legit eBay motors vehicle protection but was not through ebay it was on the side....I swore it was legit b/c the emailed invoices were straight from eBay Motors. I had already sent the money through MoneyGram to a Christine Terry in Johnstown, NY and just had a hunch to google his email address...only to find that there was a guy not even a month ago that this had happened to!

PURCHASED A TRUCK FROM HIM ON CRAIGS LIST AND HE TOLD ME HE WOULD CONTACT EBAY TO DO THE PURCHASE SO EVERYONE WOULD BE SAFE. I RECEIVED AN INVOICE FROM EBAY AND FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS. I SENT PAYMENT BY MONEYGRAM TO ROBERT SMITH IN FLORIDA AS HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE AN AGENT FOR EBAY. HE E-MAILED ME CONFIRMING HE HAD THE MONEY AND WOULD PROCESS THE ORDER. NOT BEING ABLE TO MAKE CONTACT AFTER THAT I CALLED EBAY AND THEY HAD NO IDEA WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT AND SUGGESTED I CONTACT THE POLICE AND FBI. I HAVE TRIED TO NO AVAIL SO FAR. MR. SMITH'S E-MAIL IS [email protected]. ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT TO DO FROM HERE?
^^^^ Thanks to this guy I was able to call and get a hold to MoneyGram and call the scam! They were able to refund my money! This is NO fault of money gram...basically is ANYONE sends you a deal thats too good to be true, 99.9% of the time, it is. DONT DO DEALS OUT SIDE OF EBAY EVER!! Im sorry this other guy lost his money but thankfully I didn't! Guys do NOT buy this off of craigslist. 2001 tacoma listed at $1594!
BTW this guy did to me what he did to this other guy almost exactly!
