a young girl who said she was a ucla student raising money for a school trip by selling magazine subscriptions which would be sent to wounded warriors and half of the proceeds would go to the student's project. i should have known when she would only take cash or check. we purchased 2- 4 year subscriptions.
we gave her $ 50 in cash and a check for
$ 77. she told us she lived with her grandpa who lived on our block. we later found out there was no such person.
