My son was driving an hour outside of Dillon Colorado when he called to ask me to book his room at Super 8 Motel in Dillon. A Google search for 'Super 8 Motel Dillon CO' displayed a green "Ad box" titled "Ads related to super 8 motel dillon co", immediately followed by the Hotelsone.com link titled "Super Motel Dillon - Super-8-Motel-Dillon.HotelsOne.com". But this link took me to the Super 8 Motel Dillon **SOUTH CAROLINA** reservation page. Unfortunately, I did not notice the one small place that "South Carolina" was indicated. My son arrived in Dillon CO, found no reservation but got a room at that Super 8 anyway. Cancellation of the other reservation was denied. I've spent at least 4 hours on at least 7 phone calls to customer service (it's not the $76, but the principle that my money can be taken so easily with no recourse for me). The Case IED is S47165911. I have documented at least 7 different customer reps names, some of which tried to help, some of which were rude and unhelpful. I was told at one point that the case was documented on their end as a 'Site Error'. Still, most recently, I was told it was my fault and no refund would be considered. Don't ever use Hotelsone.com. Don't trust Expedia. It is not worth the headache. This is the short version of the story. But just know you will not get a fair deal in the event of a problem, just endless scripted responses from well meaning customer service reps until someone which responsibility just says "NO, not our problem"!!!! By the way, go ahead and try that Google search now. It still does the same thing, consistently. Not changed as of today anway.

  • I've ALREADY provided the CASE IED number which should get you all the info you need and more. What is the booking number anyway? I've go a case number, itinerary number, and reservation number. Just more obfuscation.

I see this same boilerplate response to any complaint toward Hotelsone.com or Expedia on Scambook. Nice going. Makes it look like you care and would do something. I've spent too many hours with too many customer services reps to believe it. If you really want to do something, look up the issue, get my contact info and contact me as you should have all along!!
