A man called and spoke to my husband saying we had won $4million, a Mercedes and two airline tickets. He told him at 4:30 that afternoon a man, along with two U.S. Marshall's would be coming to our house to escort us to the bank to deposit the money. He gave names, and sounded very official. My husband waited patiently for the "what do I have to do" part. Finally toward the end of the conversation he was told to go to a store and purchase a prepaid green dot money card. He asked what would happen if we didn't have the money to do this and the man reassured him he would still be awarded the prize money. The man said he would call back. When he called back he explained that he would need the number off the prepaid card to "call it in" for a "proper transfer". My husband asked for his number, and while he was on the phone, I called it from my cell phone (716 area code NY)It rang for a long time then a child answered it and hung up. He told the man this and the man hung up. THEN the man called back! My husband said if someone shows up at our door, we will go buy the prepaid card but he knew and the man knew there was no prize so quit calling. The man hung up and hasn't called back.

  • I don't think this is a real company, just thieves trying to scam people. No real sweepstakes asks for money up front from prize recipients.
