I received a charge om my credit card which is linked to my checking acct. I noticed this $295.00 charge on my bank statement. It was a charge that I had not approved. I went to my bank to file a fraud case. Turns out that this was for a subsription renewal for Lombardi that I had no idea of. I had not received any notice from Lombardi asking if I was interested in renewing the subscription. I finally made contact with someone after a few attempts and Kristin at Lombardi states that the $295.00 had been credited back to my credit card 10/11/2012. My bank does not show any record of this. I called several times to Kristin stating that I need some kind of reference # and proof of the refund from their side either a statement or invoice to show my bank of the refund. She states that they do not give out that information. My bank STILL has no credit back from them. I am getting very frustrated with Lombardi.

In all fairness, you were advised at the time you signed up for your subscription based service of the automatic renewal. Our newsletter service is designed to renew automatically to ensure you do not inadvertently miss out on any financial or health related information, to which you are subscribed. A few days before the renewal is scheduled to activate, we notify the contact information associated on your account so that you can contact us back to stop the charge, should you wish to.
We sincerely apologize for any frustration or inconvenience you may have experienced in relation to dealing with a Customer Service professional, while we were attempting to help you understand or make changes to your account. We are especially concerned with this aspect of your concern, as we do not have anyone by that name.
In most cases, refunds are processed the day after your request is received. We do our best to set your expectations accordingly, as there can sometimes be a 3-business day delay between when our refund is issued and when your bank allows those funds to be visible. It is concerning that after all of this time, neither you nor your bank has any record?
