I have received two emails from friends who I do not believe sent the below letter: The first asked for 18,000 pounds and was receivd on 01/15/13. This is the second and I am quite sure this is a scam and not from Dale or Dorothy Hansen!!!!
How are you doing ? Happy new year and I'm contacting you for a help with an issue that needed to be resolve on time. We are in Malaysia for our end of the year vacation , unfortunately we got mugged last night on our way returning to the Hotel where we're staying. We've lost our mobile phones, diaries, jewelries, credit card and the money we have to the gun men that attacked us.
The police are not able to trace the gun men and our return flight leaves under the next 48hrs, so we need your help settling our hotel bills, its about $1,800; so we can be allowed to check out and wouldn't even like to miss the flight or even spend more nights over here, as it's such a horrible world out here in the Malaysia.
Kindly, let me know if you can help with some money ? so i can provide you with Western Union details to get the money sent to me. I'm promising you that all your money will be reimbursed back to you as soon as we're back home safely in few days time, Waiting your favorable response.
