Scam is aimed an eldery SS recievers - telling them they will get $5000 lump sum if they send $10. It's all about a mistake SS made in their amount of payments due to their birtdates - but SS has ALREADY fixed it!! It looks official - with a "Settlement Approval Form" addressed to our State Reps and Senators - but IT IS A SCAM - be warned!!!! DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY!

  • I work for an elderly architect and I am sick and tired of seeing him being scammed by The Senior Citizen League. He has paid lots of money to these scaremongers and I think it's time for someone to put a stop to these lying thieves. Their latest scam is scaring him that Social Security will "become a global welfare system" and "that would award billions of dollars in Social Security benefits to millions of illegal aliens now living in the U.S. and Mexico". People who take advantage of the elderly or anybody for this matter should be put in jail.
