I received the letter indicating my wife had won $1,100,000.00. I did not believe the letter and called the 800 number (1800-235-3640). Lady told wanted my credit card information to secure watches with diamond on the face. I refused to give my numbers but she was insistant that that was the only way she could validate my winning notification.
She would not give me her name.
I hung up the phone. Fine print on the letter, signed by a E. Wright, indicated that the sponsor of the sweepstakes was the National Magazine Exchange, 8285 Bryan Dairy Road, Suite 150, Largo, FL 33777.
I have scanned and retain a copy of the letter.
