Reported Damages:$500.00 (for refund, time stolen from me, and for stressing me out, keeping my account number in their system, and for lying to me and scamming me!)

i gifted my 71 yr old father a three (3) month match.com membership 3/20/12. i specifically requested NOT to be auto-renewed, and was given their word it would not renew w/o my authorization. i gave them my checking account and routing numbers. then, 6/26/12, i see a charge for $68 from match.com on my online bank statement for an additional three months of membership (they charge you every three months whether you want the service or not)!!!.. of course i called, went thru the process to request a refund (which took forever!), was granted a $68 credit back to my checking acct.to credit w/in the next two billing cycles, and reassured NO AUTO RENEW, service CANCELLED.....so i thought. next thing i know, 12/27/12 i see they charged me AGAIN, another $68, taken right out of my bank acct.!!! you talk about being upset... so i had to go back thru all my statements and look for the first $68 credit---which they NEVER credited back!! so i call their customer service number (which is NOT NOTED anywhere on their website - i finally found it on my bank statement next to the "AUTHORIZED" approval #!!!) they would NOT refund ANY of the money!!! Nor would they take my checking account number out of their system!! honest to GOD, these creeps had me fuming! and get this, the only way i could get my acct. # out of their system is if my DAD CALLED in and gave them HIS accout number!!! OMG, why would they need any of our numbers if SERVICE is CANCELLED??!! then get this, they said since my dad replied to an email (from a girl @ match.com), it reactivated the account and they refuse to give my any sort of refund!!! BIGGEST SCAMMERS CUZ THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF LONELY PEOPLE AND THEN RIP THEM OFF EVERY MONTH FOREVER! i feel so bad for the people that don't even realize they're being charged automatically every 3 months!! they had me so stressed out i "could've spit bullets!" oh, i also had to pay $30 for a stop payment so they cant charge me again in march 2013 (they steal your money every three months!!) im telling you i was so mad, it ruined my entire day (and everyone around me!). btw, i told them i was going to report them to every single site i can find if they didnt offer me a refund and take my account number out of their system, it didn't even phase them so i know im not the first nor the last to complain about them! (i spoke to the supervisor once i realized the first two people in the first two hours couldnt/wouldnt help me.
