I joined Match.com the beginning of 01/12 it was for the 3 month period that was offered. I called on March 26, 2012, I read how to cancel my account and did this I called the company to make sure and I talked with a representative name Leyla who told confirmed that I would not be charged and that my account was closed. I was looking at all of my statement's as on 11/14/12 and found a deduction from a Chemistry.com in the amount of $80.97 on 09/12/12. I didn't catch this sooner because I had been ill. So I filed a complaint with BBB but today got back their decision that this company would only have to pay me $30.00 because I had no proof. I never signed up with a Chemistry.com but what I've found out is that Match.com and Chemistry.com are one an the same. Match.com simply reopened my account with Chemistry.com and they are lying and saying that I never closed my account. It makes no sense if I had an account with them why have I not used it? I had not one date or any contact with this Chemistry.com I am very upset that bbb it seems did not investigate this as these people are simply taking money out of your account without your permission. Again as I told bbb I did not sign up to have an account with Chemistry.com I did sign up with Match.com but cancelled after 3 months.
