Before my shrinkage fee of $ 40.00 last payment about to be reduced to $ 35.00 in January for all on-time payments I've always made to Boost. However the shringate report was not the right amount after making all on time payments. (I furnish all payments associated with this account via bank statements because I always make payment with my Visa debt card.) I was told Boost was going to discontinue support for the Motorola i465 phone that I bought when first doing business with Boost Mobile. The representative for Boost offer me a free phone, either a Samsun smart phone, a Blackberry or a flip phone. I told them I wanted the Samsun smart phone and that I would receive this phone in 7 days. After 7 days I still had not recieve the phone. so I called company to find the status of phone delivery was told that it was 7 business days. After 7 business days I still had not received the phone so I call Boost again and was told that it was 15 business days. I have case number as well. Near the end December I called the company again only to be told that I would NOT receive a new phone after all that the company discontinued this "free phone" program. I asked to talk to a supervisory, for one about the cost of my phone bill - now back to 50 dollars a month dispite my on-time phone payments and about the free phone I was promised.

I asked the supervisor about my free phone - he said the program had been discontinued and very sorry. I told him that the company cannot offer free phones that not send one. That such an act is fraud. I ask him how many promised a phone that did not receive one? He did not answer but lower my bill to 25.00 dollars for the month of January. I would like to file a class action lawsuit against Boost for the promise of the phone without any intention of delivery. I am certian there were hundreds of other Boost consumers who were promised a phone and were thus mislead by the company and told they would no longer qualify for shrinkage rates they have earn via on-time payments due to deceptions on the part of Boost mobile and promises of a free phone.

  • Seeking Resolution: Other
  • A free phone (Samsung smart phone as promised) and a continue monthly bill of $35.00 per month, but of course I preferred a classaction case at this point since I already have spend a number of hours trying to resolve this issue with Boost without resolve.
