I searched for yahoo email help online. I was directed to 888.307.9126.
When Josh answered the phone he immediately started telling me that he had to diagnose the issue and I had to give control of the computer. He is a master at convincing a person that he is working for Yahoo.
Once I allowed him to have control of the screen, he used his cursor to close any window that I opened to investigate his site, Pcexperts. I got suspicious when he rushed me to his buddy on the other line, waiting to sell me a fix-all program for 339.95. Fortunately, I had an Ipad, and used it while he was again rushing me to give credit card information. When I confronted him about the scam reports I was reading, he said "Mam, I never actually said I worked for Yahoo, or I was associated with them." which was true, but he and his buddy did everything possible to convince me otherwise. I hung up on them, and changed my passwords. I am feeling creepy now.
