I had a lockdown placed on my debit card because of this fraudulent activity. I've had to cancel my current card and apply for a new one...which will probably take 5 to 7 days. This scam is effecting folks all over the country and parts of Western Europe. Sorry scamsters!!! Watch your checking accounts closely...report any fraudulent activity to your bank as soon as you suspect it happening. In most cases you will be refunded by your bank, but only if caught early and a report is initiated as soon as you catch this fraudulent activity.
