I was hired by the company to ship packages overseas. I investigated and they appeared to be legit and were okay with the BBB. It was explained to me that many companies do not ship overseas and they were the conduit to enable the individuals and businesses living overseas to order from U.S. companies. They offered the position and sent a contract to be signed. They also required the typical I-9 information. The packages were delivered by UPS and FedEx. I would print the postage paid shipping label from AGF - shipping web site then have the post office pick it up.
The web site went down after 3 weeks and the email addresses for my supervisor and the HR department were now returned with the message "failed permanently. The telephone number I had for my supervisor was now giving a generic message. I left 2 messages with a request for a return call and didn't receive one. The $3,000 is for lost pay.
