We were contacted via email from a Mission Organization we represented in the US saying they received this invite but were unable to attend so they passed it on to us. Believing this to be credible we responded to this invite from Victory Outreach Church in Wales to be guest speakers from Jan 11-13-2013. This letter was from the UK and event was described as a very Big (1500 churches) Victory Open Praise Conference. We were immediately contacted back with the following letter stating that their organizing committee had met and accepted us to be guest speakers. They then sent a formal letter of Invitation and Contract Agreement. They indicated how much money would be given in lieu of our speaking fee which was $8500, which a $5,250 deposit to be paid as soon as we procure all relevant travel documents. in order to procure our UK Work Permit. When this is done they will release the deposit. This letter is signed by Pastor Richard Taylor, Victory Outreach Church, +44-794-575-0464
We didn't send the contract back nor did we contact theirs Dr. Conner Bradley. We did however send them our travel plans, when we would need to be in England and when we would need t o leave. They wanted this in order to book the airline tickets. Something just didn't seem right to us. The website they gave www.victorychurch.co.uk is indeed Pastor Richard Taylor but the man we spoke with sounded Nigerian. We started to investigate this and found this to be a complete scam. It appears these unscrupulous people have taken Pastor Richard Taylor's identity and are using it to deceive unsuspecting Christian leaders to defraud them. We hope you can stop these people.
