I received several calls today from 916-941-5162 from a guy saying his name is Marc Victor calling from Law office of Russell Miller. They stated they recieved an update of my information on Dec. 17th and that I defaulted on a payday loan with Cash Advance and I owed $495.32. I stated I never had a loan with them and owe nobody, he said I was trying to run with their money and they have proceeded to sue me and that within 2 hours I would be summoned by local authorites and arrested for bank fraud. I kept asking questions and he got aggitated and hung on me saying I wish you good luck, I called back and spoke to another guy who said that I could stop the proceedings by paying the amount within 20 minutes. I was scared at first because he told me my social security # and my place of work. They even called me at work after calling my cell. I called the FTC and then out a fraud alert on my credit report. Afterwards I called the company back and he told me I would recieve no more calls and to ignore the others made. I insisted to know more and he threatend to call me every minute if the day if I didnt stop calling them. I would back down and he inturn wished me goodluck and then 2 minutes later I started recieving calls from the Gilbert Police department 4805036500, when I answered nobody said anyting and it hung up. I called back the number and got the police dept who had no clue what I was talking about. During my call i still received the calls, the operator could hear my line beeping. I received 14 missed calls while at work from the same #. I dont know how these people got my info and I hope nobody gives them any money. Its very strange that when I offered to pay they dismissed me.
