I have Mitsubishi 57 inch Dlp TV Model # WD557 Ser. # 103638, I purchased in 2007, it was used only 6 months per year. The Tv is showing white spots and black dots very distracting to watch. I checked to see if anyone was having similar problems and sure enough there are lots of people having the same issues.

I am about to call Mitsubishi to see if they will send me the replacement DLP chip. I am a qualfied TV Technician and can replace the part myself. I believe that this issue should have been covered under a recall and there is no quarantee that the replacement part will last longer than the original.
