I called web.com, after seeing TV ad. I signed up for them to build me a top of the line professional website, with top listings in all the most popular browsers, and the best marketing done by there professional marketing team. They advertised I would pay nothing for 30 days after I approved my website, and would have 60 days to make changes free of charge,and then a limited time each month,for additional changes. If I did not like my website or its performance in bringing in new customers, I could cancel after 30 days and pay nothing. The cost for building website, 60 days of changes, the best marketing, and set up for all browsers, was going to be 94.87 a month. 11/1/12 they took my information, and payment information. On 11/6/12 the emailed me my website was done, and I could make any changes I needed to, or call/email the changes to them and there team would input them. My Account was charged 94.87 on 11/6, I though this may happen even though the agent said live to me, we take your payment information, and put a hold on the 1st payment. Not True, CHARGED! After 30 to 40 min holds on the phone, and emails about changes attaching verbage, picture etc. I check out their 1st Draft of the professional website, it was in my opinion very basic, not professionally written or even researched, and none of my material even used. It wasn't even as good as the free website I started but decided that the marketing alone and a professional built website would be worth it, being at the top of the lists in under 30 days, and it would pay for itself. I ended up putting of 50+ hours building the website myself, since the response and customer service promised was really not there. On 12/09/12 my account billed another 94.87, I still had not approved website yet, and already two charges totaling close to $200.00, the second charge came after a very strong email about my frustrations, complaints, along with a request for a agent to call me, and I also stated to not charge my account anymore till issues were fixed and website was approved. CHARGED AGAIN ANYWAY! Violating there own advertising. After holding 45 minutes again to talk to billing dept, then transfered and held another 20 minutes, hung up called back, 20 more min. then told he would submit a request to a board to make a decision, 3 days called back finally got to agent Jason whom said the claim was denied but he put it in wrong, not saying I had 30 days to approve he said and did a very good job saying I would get both payment back, and after approving my first month would be only $29.00 and would I then keep it and not cancel, I agreed if my money was refunded back to my account. Over a week now with no refund money, which he said he guarenteed they would have to give me back, to my account yet.

Update: 12/17/2012

Unauthorized charges taken from my account prior to agreed terms, implied by agent and TV advertisement, caused an overdraft in my bank account and I was assessed an additional $70.00 in bank fee's, to total a new refund amount due of $259.90.
