I contacted via phone for a Canon 70-200mm L f/4 lens. I ordered several items such as the 5 yr. warranty, Lens hood, etc. The man claimed his name was Nathan who which had a East Coast accent. The phone number listed on the site was 307-223-7216 a Wyoming number. The man told me they can ship C.O.D. through UPS because I stated I would have to call back after I found my CC. He took my order shipped it to me the 3rd week of November. I received in on 11-28-2012. The box seemed a little small. I wrote the Money Gram Money Order to the company "360 Design Nation," as requested. I did not think anything of it, figured he was working as an affiliate or doing drop shipment. I open the box and a Sigma 105mm lens was there. I immediately called, no answer. I left a message and had a return call an hour later. Nathan called me and said he would send me a return label expedited. 3 days went by, nothing. I called again, spoke with him and argued. I waited another 2 days and emailed and left another message. No return message. I emailed again the next day threatening with the authorities, no answer. I contacted IC3 and emailed the FBI. No answer to date
12-12-2012. I researched the site they have a fake number listed to the who-is contact info, which upon calling is their supposed privacy service of 480-624-2500. A Company called Volusion is their server host. I conatcted, but they could not give any personal info. I contacted UPS via phone and emailed their fraud dept.. They informed me they cancelled their account to suspicious activity and mutiple complaints of potential fraud. Ups gave me information on where they sent the Money Orders in NY, said it was a company called Lens Cabin. Lens Cabin has an "F" rating with the BBB and has listed their address on google search. These are the names I researched and found these guys have used. LenHorizon.com, lenscabin.com, lensworldwide.com, 360 Design Nation is who they had people write their M.O.'s and casiers checks to. Everyone that has been ripped off by them should all make a formal complaint to www.IC3.gov and submit any and all info to the FBI via email and call. Law Enforcement will track them. They are using a hide IP program and their server host company is located in Simi Valley, CA. I have tried to ping their website and done ip tracing to no avail. They to date have removed their 307 number for calling contact from their site. The fake voicemail witha british womans accent is so distant it sounds like they recorded it off tv or the internet.
