My husband and I went to a presentation on 4/11/12 to get 2 free airline tickets to attend a 90 minute Presentation. At the end of the presentation I Told (The Manager)That I was not interested in purchasing because the only place I ever travel is to Maine to visit my family and I can stay with them for free. The Manager told the sales rep to go pull up the proof that I can stay in Maine for the entire five weeks for only 800.00 dollars not a penny more. Sales Rep came back with a printout showing me that I could stay for five weeks in July for only $800.00. Manager guaranteed that Sea to Ski would do this. I asked the manager three times if she was sure cause to vacation in Maine in the summer time is impossible to obtain. She shook my hand and said She Is sure. Then proceeded to say do we have a deal. We wrote a check and went to the car to call Sea to Ski to book my five weeks. The customer service help line said it was 899.00 a week and they do not have anything listed for less. I ran back to The presentation to get my check back and the Manager and representitive were gone for the day. I went to put a stop payment on my check and someone already cashed it. I Called back at Sea to Ski and the help desk person said all I can do is call the manager. Sea to Ski operator said there was nothing she could do. Since the manager didnt put it in writing. I was scammed to buy into a vacation that does not exist.
