After installing "RealPlayer" onto my computer in 2011,I received trial upgrade offers for premium features to get faster speeds on playbacks and DVD burns. I accepted and purchased RealPlayerPlus at a special offer rate of $29.99 but was charged $39.99. I let it go due to the generosity of the company and the friendly staff that seemed eager to assist me with the constant technical problems with their program. At first the techs were able to fix the bugs and I received another promotional upgrade on 12/8/11 and was overcharged again by another $10.00. I called and cancelled the upgrade but by the time it was credited back to my account I had accumulated $90.00 in NSF fees by my bank due to the $10.00 overcharge. They sent another upgrade 3 months later for "Superpass" trial use and I tried to use the newer program with no success so I called before the trial was up to insure that I did not get charged, they apologized and extended the trial end date with suggestions for the technical issues. I was still not able to get around the technical issues and declined the "Superpass" offer. After I declined I continued to receive e-mails requesting renewal for "Superpass" but I never responded to them so I considered the issue closed and continued using the program that I had purchased which did not included recurring quarterly fees. I have an e-mail saved on my computer where I wrote them and inquired on recurring charges and their reply was "NO". The bank that the charges were applied to is not my primary bank so I do not view the activity very often, but when I received another bank notice regarding NSF fees with a $30.00 overdraft charge I discovered 3 charges of $34.99 for "Superpass" which totaled $124.97 in unauthorized charges and NSF Fees of $120.00. The total Monetary Damages excluding the cost of wasted blank DVD's used on their "burner" program which was never successful is $244.97
