I received a text last week stating I won a $1,000 gift card that I never signed up for. This morning I woke up to a text I received at 5:36 AM (MST)Saying "You've won 2nd place. Your Code is: ... CardContest.net"
The first text I received I thought was annoying and random, but figured that would be the end. Really hopping I do not get more of these.
The website reeks of a scam as it has no contact information and a "timer" that gives you 5:00 to enter your code. However, refresh the page and the timer starts over. Not going to see what happens after I enter my code.
