I went to the Michael Kors Store at Stonebrair Mall in Frisco,tx on 12/8/12 . I was in the store for about 10 minutes and was greeted by a sales girl Stephanie. She asked me if I needed help, I said no, that I was just browsing. I then asked her after a short while for a wallet I wanted - she handed it to me and basically that was it. When I got to the counter, I mentioned that I was ready to check out and that I had a 50% off coupon from my company. She proceeded to retort very rudely that I should have mentioned that the minute I walked in because she "works on commision". How I was supposed to know that, Im not sure. Either way I was very offended about the way she spoke to me. I could have been equally as rude to her, but I was simply quiet, PAID for my item (because discount or not it was NOT FREE). Am I a customer or simply a commision? Should I be treated differently because she is not earning a commision. I called to complain to her manager Michael, who proceeded to DEFEND her behavior because they have been having issues with other people who walked in with coupons as well. He did not even apologize for he behavior just went on and on about how they will probably never extend this offer to my company which gave us the coupons again. Do i need to know that? I basically had to defend myself and why I was upset even though I tried to handle this as politely as I could. SHAME on the Michael Kors sales people at Stone Briar mall in frisco, TX. You should all be fired or taken to a class to learn that it does not cost to be polite. I was going to come back and shop there for more items I saw, but now forget it. I dont EVER want to own ANYTHING Michael Kors thanks to those 2....you have them to thank.
