I purchase a great deal of product online and I am very wary of certain sites, always careful and listen to my gut.
Last week I tried to purchase a report online which showed a download fee of $1.00 (EU). I should have listened to my gut on this one.

I entered my VISA info and a charge of $2.03 (CA) showed up on my account 2 days later, however when I received the link to the report I was unable to download anything and still have not received any product. I was just going to put it down to experience as the $2.03 didn't really bother me. BUT, then two days later another charge from ** CCBILLEU.COM +18885969279Valetta, M ** appeared on my online VISA statement in the amount of $71.39 for no reason as I did not order anything more using that CC clearing house.

I immediately called VISA and not without a lot of hassle, asked them to stop all FUTURE charges from CCBILLEU.COM and demanded they do an internet search and check out all the fraud reports on this CC clearing house service. They stated a lot of rules, made me feel like an internet newbie and I had to sit through a statement read to me on the possible outcome. They said they would dispute the charges with the company and it would take up to three days to put the stop order on and have the charges reversed. They said they could not guarantee that they could reverse them.

I checked my online statement today and both charges have been reversed (2.03 and 71.39).

My advice, DO NOT order anything that uses this company and if you do inadvertently and it shows up on your statement, call your CC company immediately and follow what I did above - MOST IMPORTANTLY ask them to put a stop order on the company so no more charges appear - because they will continue to bill your CC for things you did not authorize.
