Complaint 187319 Details

I recieved a TXT message to my mobile saying my mobile number has been selected and i had won USD$1.2 million and for me to email to the email address supplied. I emailed and then i was sent a payment of application form to complete with my bank details and what alerted me was the presentation of the form that was sent.
1. It looked like a made up form.
2. the spelling on the form was misspelt.
3. They were asking for bank details to deposit the winning prize into.
I emailed back to the person who was replying back to me and he claims he was composing my affidavid to send to the bank NEDBANK as they are the insured bank who are holding the winning prize.
After i emailed through my false details on the payment application form i then recieved another email titled URGENT ATTENTION Payment for processing fee.
They wanted me to pay the related charges as below stated.
1. Affidavit of Claim Certificate Fee >>>>>>> USD 499.00
2. Foreign remittance permit >>>>>>> USD 299.00
Total: USD$ 798.00 and also they required me to pay $5,300.00 USD.

I had replied back to the email and said to pay the fee out of the winning prize funds when it is paid to me and that is when the person emailing me said NO i have to pay the fee before i recieve my winning prize.

That is when i knew this was a scam.

Person name or proberly a false name was Jonathan Mbatha (ESQ)

He sure did not get anything from me.
