After reading through all the complaints about Mortgage Law Group. Mine is the same story! They told me it would only take 3 months but after 3 months we would have to pay an additional $500 to keep it going. Well after the 2nd payment of $500. I realized that we were still in the "2nd phrase" and they kept asking for us to send the same thing over and over again. I then became suspecious when I was no longer able to send the paperwork thru a fax, they needed it sent thru the mail (costing a lot of money..because it was always pages and pages they needed) Also, the the person I was working with "Xavier Poole" was no longer there when I just spoke to him the day before. So people reading this...Go to your bank you will need to fill out a form that will not allow them to take anymore money out of your account. We did this...and oh boy did it get them mad! They called and called us. I like to think in the end I screwed them too..because we stopped all calls and all payments! (although they did get $4,500.00 out of us) But in the end we told them to go take a hike! Now we are left with our home being foreclosed on. I blame myself...I should have checked the web before. A friend of ours that knew our situation was trying to help and told us about this company. We called and everything sounded so real. Don't be fooled people! This is a total scam!!!! :(
