On October 12, I placed an order for a DVD season of a television show. I had been having a hard time finding online, but they had it available and I was thrilled. I placed the order and the website stated that the order would be shipped within 24 hours and received in 2-7 days since I paid for USPS First-Class Mail. By the 15th my account was charged and by the 22nd I still had not received my order or been notified that the order had been shipped. I wrote in to their customer service email and asked for the status of my order. I was told: "Your order was shipped and we are currently looking into this issue with USPS and will have it resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience." On the 25th when I still had not been notified of any status update on my order I sent another email asking if anything had been resolved. On the 26th they responded: "A new shipment was sent out to you on Wednesday and will reach you by early this coming week." The following Friday, when I had still not received the order, I called their customer service number and only got through to a recording, so again I wrote in to their email because at least I was getting a response through that method. As other complaints have stated, they said the hurricane was holding things up and they did not have the means to verify that my shipment had not been received, even though somehow they had the means to respond to an email... this is where I started getting suspicious. I was told I would be notified once the issue was resolved. That was on November 3rd. By November 14th after not hearing anything I unsuccessfully attempted to call their customer service line again, then again sent an email asking what was going on and that is when I demanded that they give me a full refund due to the inconvenience and the fact that I had still, a month later had not recieved my order. I was told on the 15th that an refund was issued and would show up in my account within 2-7 business days. Taking Thanksgiving and Black Friday into account, 7 business days was up on November 28th. On the 29th I sent an email again, this time letting them know that I would be filing a complaint via any venue I could, including the better business bureau, I will also be filing a dispute with Bank of America in order to try and recoup the money that I lost during this transaction. Please avoid this business at all costs. I just hope that we can stop them and that they do not succeed in using any of our payment information to steal more money.
