I was trying to access my Microsoft link in my computer and an icon came up with a face and phone to connect to. I did, and the person said he could help resolve the problem. He convinced me that I had had my computer hacked, that he was an agent of microsoft and that I should get this service to protect my computer. I purchased the service with my Visa credit card. They went about "cleaning" my computer, but I don't know what all they did and they had me buy a service under false pretenses.
