I received the following email after replying to an inquiry stating the item was no longer available:

Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me, I am Paul Daniel and I'm okay with
the price and conditions of the item and would want you to understand
that i am not locally in your area but my Personal Assistant who also
reside in the USA would be the one to take care of payment for me as
I'm really interested in the item on Craigslist.

Also,i am going to add $50 to the price for you to take down the
advert from Craigslist..I will need the following information to have
my Personal Assistant issue out the payment to you so you need to get
back to me with Your Full name as it will be on the payment and your
Physical Home Address(NO PO BOX) and your phone number for the payment
to be made and i will have my shipper to come and get the item picked
up from you as soon as the payment has been completely made to you
also the payment for the Shipper who will be coming to pick up the
item will be included in the payment coming to you,You are only to
deduct the cost of the item and send the rest to the shipper so that
they can get on their way to your place for the item and the payment
will be inform of a Cashier's Check,So i hope you understand me
perfectly? .I really appreciate you selling the item to me and kindly
take the advert down on Craigslist so i will be waiting to hear from
you later today..

Luckily I was not taken in by this scam. I received similar responses to my post. I report this in the hope that it might
prevent someone else being taken in by this scam artist.
