IS THIS A SCAM EMAIL??OR REAL...THANKS (Personal Information Removed) Hello,

I'm very sorry you had to contact us again about the payment issue with your order. The email you received is in fact from Amazon.com.

I'm happy to provide more detailed information. The bank that issued your credit card informed us that you're disputing the charge for your order, #103-7918391-2441848 in the amount of $53.44.

At this point we need to receive payment for this order if the original charge is refunded via the dispute. We can re-charge the original credit card used on the order or you can provide alternate payment information by contacting our Customer Service department at 1-866-216-1072 or by fax at 304-781-4960. Additionally, you can add a new credit card in Your Account www.amazon.com/your-account. Select the Add a Credit Card option in the Payment section and follow the onscreen instructions.

When you contact our Customer Service, please inform them you need to provide payment for the disputed charge of $53.44 on order #103-7918391-2441848. At that time let us know if you will be using the original credit card on the order or providing an alternate credit card for us to charge. If you decide to fax us the new credit card information please be sure to include the following.

* complete credit card number
* expiration date
* amount of charge and order number
* your name, email address, and fax number (or phone number)
* your reason for faxing the information
* billing address (if different than billing address associated with order/charge being disputed)

If you e-mail us this information, please be sure to include the credit card type, expiration date and last 4 digits only of the credit card as long as it's a credit card associated with your Amazon account. Please do not include your full credit card number as e-mail is not a secure method of transmitting your credit card number.

While the charge dispute is processing with your issuing bank, we don't know the status of the dispute or whether the original charge will be refunded via the dispute or re-instated by your bank. After we receive alternate payment information from you for the order, we'll monitor the status of the dispute and take appropriate action:

- If the original charge is refunded via the dispute, we will process a new charge to the payment method you provide.

- If the original charge is reinstated by your bank, we'll inform you of the bank's decision and will NOT process a new charge to the payment method you provide.

I hope this information helps clarify the status of this transaction. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Thank you for your recent inquiry. Did I solve your problem?
