Bargain Room's merchandise appears to be cheap and not really a bargain in the end. Three items purchased recently were (1) Isotoner Laser Tape Measure, (2) Isotoner Key Finder, and (3) Sterling Silver Heart Earrings. Both the Isotoner products were very cheap looking and did not look like the pictures on the web site. The key chain appeared to have been previously opened and also had a scratch on it. The earrings came packaged in a box that looked rugged and would definitely be something I would be embarrassed to gift to someone. In addition, I have also had the problems with the $1 Bargain Deals that are impossible to purchased because it not humanly possible to check out that quickly - within a matter of seconds - even with pre-stored information. Every time I try to purchase a $1 Bargain, the system kicks me out and it takes a while to get back on the site, or before I can even get through the process, it is taken out of my cart, and that is on a good day. However, if I add another item to my cart to purchase, the system works just as smooth as ever. In other cases, $1 Bargains have popped up at the zero hour, and then show sold immediately. I also experienced a Garmin GPS system popping up "sold out" about 12 times one after the other all within 30 seconds or so. I emailed them several times and did not get an email back, but I did get a call back from someone named Dan, who patched me through to the owner, who apologized and said they were changing the buying process for Black Friday - admitting that there were too many technical glitches with the $1 Bargains and that is was not feasible for the system to handle the response. He said, they were working on a way for the $1 Bargain deals to be accessible to everyone who add it to their cart, then each person would be issued a number, then a number will be randomly selected in order to choose a winner - basically like a raffle drawing. I was a little bit happy with his response and figured I would continue to shop the site on Black Friday, only to be disappointed once again since when the $1 Bargains appeared, I was having the same problems I had experienced before. I told him that the site appeared to be a scam, but he insisted that they are just new and experiencing some technical issues. He also admitted that in some cases, their inventory for $1 Bargains would only be ONE!! Seems very illogical for a site advertising Bargains!! The company is run out of the state of Maryland. The only thing for sure is there are no real Bargains in Bargain Room!
